Our low maintenance steel link conveyor chains offer many advantages to industry:

newspic2

Long life due to effective sealing of the linkage areas.

Long intervals between re-lubrication, due to pre-lubrication prior to despatch from the warehouse.

High operational safety due to pre-lubrication.

Extremely low friction during demanding operational conditions such as: in coal transfer installations, mining and in cement factories, also on continuous conveyor installations.

There are no restrictions on the application off load or pressure on the linkage areas when compared to conventional steel link chains.

Rough operational conditions, that greatly stress the chains, through the ingress of moisture and dirt are the conditions encountered in Mines, the Cement and Sugar Industries, also during the mining of brown coal, in Powerplants and in the recycling industries.

Conventional chains, usally succumb to high abrasion and must be painstakingly cleaned and relubricated, which interrupts the operating process. Low maintenance chains have substantially greater periods of operation, between maintenance intervals.

newspic3The knowhow for solving many problems in the area of industrial use; is contained in the design and manufacture of precision chains, developed by KÖBO, which have been available for many years.

The decisive advantage of low maintenance conveyor chains is that the bearing areas are encased, which keeps out moisture and dirt particles, while at the same time providing continous lubrication through the lubrication resevoir.

KÖBO’s experience over many years with the use of these special chains shows exceptionally positive results and indicates that maintenance and re-lubrication are not necessary, even over many years of operation under extreme conditions.
